This month's BMB Chalk Talk will be given by Ted Steck on Friday, March 2nd in KCBD 3200.  We'll begin at 3:45 p.m. with a social time, then begin the talk at 4 p.m.  The talk title is "A challenge for membrane protein biophysicists: Why are so many plasma membrane proteins modified by cholesterol?"  Featuring neurotransmitter receptors and transporters, cation channels, transporters, etc.
